Toon Effects Maker URP - Anime & Cartoon FX
Toon Effects Maker URP is a complete framework that allows the easy & creative composition of new effects in Unity, with focus on cartoon and anime like effects.
Multiple advanced tools allow the creation of sprite sheets from any animated item, motion recording and playback, advanced aura effects & dynamic control, easy exchange of individual properties between particles or inherit from the 200+ effects library & much more.
A complete Toon Ocean system is also included, that allows the easy creation of stunning dynamic oceans or water, ice or lava.
The framework is written in C# code and the source code is provided.
The Asset supports the URP pipeline. The asset has been developed and tested in Unity 2021.3 LTS, in Windows with DX11. Has not been tested in VR, Mobile, Consoles, WebGL, Linux.

Features exclusive to the URP version
- Dynamic multilayered anime Orb effects
- Shader based tordado effects
- Dynamic particle based tornado system
- Ground cracks with stencil based opening of ground mesh, using two methods for versatility
- Toon style lighting based on spherical meshes intersecfion with geometry using a stencil system.
- Procedural point to point lightning arc system with arc path control points for fine tuning.
- Lightning strike effects with two methods
- Mesh dissolve effect on dynamically defined radius.
- Toon waterfall effect
- Dynamic ground burn effect
- Atomic bomb blast effect
The system requires the Visual Effect Graph for some of the new URP effects, which is available through the Unity Package Manager.
Some of the more advanced effects involving the stencil buffer, like the ground cracks, are only compatible with the URP Forward rendering path. Also they require a specific state of the stencil buffer, thus must be used with care depending on how other systems use the stencil buffer in the scene.

- Aura system, with ground conformation and advanced particle control for radial emission and rotation.
