Description

Collection of smoke, fire and explosion prefabs, shaders. Particles support HD, URP and Standard render, Nature Manufacture wind so they react on wind speed, direction, shiver.

To run HD or URP, please import the pack to HD or URP , project and then import the support pack inside the asset in "HD and URP" folder. It will replace shaders, prefabs, and meshes so they will work with RP out of the box. Please also check the readme files inside that folder.

 

This pack helps you to add high-quality particle effects at low-performance cost. Multiple variants of shaders will help you to optimize render and gain proper effect in specific situations.

 

Inside the package you will find:

- 10 smoke prefabs in 4 variants (standard, urp) 6 variants ( hd rp),

- 15 additional smoke examples with different shader setups,

- 14 mixed prefabs (ashes, flames, embers, torch, fire pit),

- 5 particle shaders that react on wind direction, speed, shiver, gust etc,

- Nature Manufacture wind script and prefabs,

- HD and URP support files which will replace prefabs, shaders, and materials directly for HD or urp engine versions,

- Manual for fire and smoke shaders,

- Example models of fire pit, torch,

- 46 particle textures in 1024-2048 resolution.

 

Technical details

  • Few versions of smoke, explosion shader with full documentation:
    • NM_Particles_Fire_Unlit - cheap in render unlit additive shader to simulate nice fire
    • NM_Particles_Smoke_Lightmap_Lit - lit shader which react on directional lights, light points with pbr setup. Additional depth is added by lightmap textures which simulate particle shape
    • NM_Particles_Smoke_Lightmap_Unlit - cheap in render shader which react only with directional light. Additional depth is added by lightmap textures which simulate particle shape
    • NM_Particles_Smoke_Normalmap_Lit - lit shader which react on directional lights, light points with pbr setup. Additional depth is added by normalmap textures which simulate particle shape
    • NM_Particles_Smoke_Normalmap_Unlit - cheap in render shader which react only with directional light. Additional depth is added by normalmap textures which simulate particle shape
