Advanced Dissolve
Advanced alpha cutout shader effect offering:
• Dissolve using geometric shapes: Sphere, Cube, Capsule, Cone, Plane, Per-Axis (X,Y,Z).
• Multiple texture blend for alpha cutout and edge noise control.
• Triplanar and Screen-Space dissolve projections.
• Various edge color controllers, including simple color, gradient and ramp textures.
• Solid, Smooth and Noisy edges.
• Color emission is visible to the Global Illumination system (Builtin RP only).
• Dissolve effect can be integrated into shaders created using Shader Graph (URP and HDRP) with user defined unlimited cutout variations.
• Shaders support all render pipelines and are compatible with Curved World.
• Compatible with Dynamic Radial Masks (using ShaderGraph).
Almost all shader features are optional and can be turned on/off any time or mixed together.
Note:
Advanced Dissolve is a collection of quite complex shaders and do not expect to manually integrate them into hand-witten shaders.
For built-in render pipeline package offers big collection of ready to use shaders for various scenarios for PC, VR, console and mobile devices.
If using URP or HDRP (besides included shaders), Advanced Dissolve can be easily integrated into shaders created using Shader Graph too.
